Wedding Traditional Beliefs

In this high-tech era we have, Filipinos beliefs didn't fade. Maybe, Filipinos are afraid to have a bad luck in their married life. Here some samples of "Kasabihan ng Matatanda".
1. Wag magligpit ng lamesa habang may kumakain - Kasi daw hindi makakapagasawa ang maiiwan sa hapagkainan.
2. Wag isukat ang trahe bago ang kasal - Kasi daw baka hindi matuloy ang kasal. (Paano malalaman kung maliit o malaki ang pagkakatahi)
3. Bawal maglakbay sa malalayong lugar ang magpapakasal. - Lapitin daw ng disgrasya ang mga ito.
4. Biyaya ang ulan sa araw ng kasal. - Paano naman yung mga kinasal ng summer? Kawawa naman sila.
5. Pagsasaboy ng bigas ay magbibigay sa bagong kasal ng maalwan na buhay. - Parang nagtatapon din ng grasyang bigas.
6. Bawal ang sukob - Malas daw.
7. Bawal magsuot ng perlas ang babae sa kasal - Magiging miserbale daw ang buhay magasawa.


Those were only 7, but bet on it, there's a lot more. It is up to the couple if they will believe those or not.
